I ran into Vito between matches just before ISU and Cornell went. We spoke for 2 minutes tops and then he told me he had to go warm up and get ready.

Fist bump, good luck, see you at nationals.

And then I watched him run to the mats on the indoor football practice field at a fricking high school and go through his routine to get ready.

My take: Vito is a great representative for our sport, nothing but respect and admiration for him.

And that high school has amazing facilities for every sport imaginable. I can’t even begin to describe what they have for young men. Boys only school

Pretty wild that only guys at weights where they were ranked higher than ours got injured or dinged up earlier in the day

Curiously, Shapiro and Ramirez were both hurt in decisive wins earlier in the day (One pin, two MDs, one 8-1 decision).

If Cornell is going to stand by that drivel and make that their stance, then I will assume they will sit all of those guys for next few duals. Oh, if any of them get dinged up at Nationals, I will also assume they will forfeit their next matches, because it's "smart" and "protective of their athletes."

I knew they’d duck Carr but didn’t see the rest coming. If Ramirez gets the 1 seed at Nationals we riot.

Redding w last sec TD 5-1 victory at149. Very impressive today.

2-1 on the day wrestled extremely good in all 3 matches -

as pointed out he was 3lb'd under the weight class today Redding seems to wrestle better the less of the weight cut he puts on his body -
some bodies just don't preform to optimal abilities when you lose much weight.

He still sits behind Casey, Paniro and Ech(sorry crabby, I know it hurts), Chittum etc.

Love Zach, super friendly kid who always speaks to me, but kd has upgraded the roster to where Zach is now a notch below the other guys in the room

If david beats O'toole it won't matter Ramirez isn't getting the 1 seed. He isn't getting ranked ahead of O'Toole and already has the loss to Olejnik at Vegas in the finals

It’s December and look how much surprising stuff has already happened. Way too early to be thinking about seeds.

He will either 1. Get beat by O’Toole or 2. Get punished for ducking him.

It will sort itself out. The way I see it, if David loses to Olejnik it won’t matter. If he beats O’Toole and Olejnik he gets the 1 seed. If he beats one and not the other, it gets complicated.

As crab said, a lot will happen between now and March.
