Loading up on green tea throughout the day and evening seems to make a difference. Caught a cold this week but it seems to have stayed fairly mild.

Thank goodness. I saw this thread bumped and was concerned we were going to lose another of our brethren to this awful virus that inflicts far too many.

Eh, usually when I get a cold I get that one day of total malaise (usually day 2 or 3) then am fine after that. Lingering cough *sucks* though

I got the manflu over the last weekend at the Minnesota vs Michigan game. Monday night into Tuesday was the worst I've felt in a decade.

No, that’s just called boredom hangover from watching sheety football.
I also had to attend the Michigan alum party before hand...wife went there.

I'm sure I got something from them.

With that said...boy is the bank a dull place to watch a game. I'm so happy with how much better the environment is at Jack Trice.

Yeah that is what I thought also. Cold lasted way less time, turns out it's Covid.

Interesting. Seems like covid has been trending that way since omicron variant came out.

This has the exact same symptoms and sequence as every cold I’ve had, just less on the severity scale.

Close to two weeks for me. I feel like it’s about gone this morning though. The wife has made me sleep in the spare bedroom for the past week of it. It’s been wonderful, so the cold might end up lasting another two weeks to her.

I've been coughing for about a month now. Added sinus pressure to the mix a few weeks back. One of my kids tested positive for strep during that time, but not me. Went to the doc twice first to get tested for strep and second time because I was on my death bed (figuratively). 10 days of Doxycycline and a steroid inhaler and I'm finally on the mend. I'm not at all the only person in my area with it too. My wife is currently on her first week... I told her to keep her expectations low as far as how long this one lasts.

Woke up yesterday with a graugy headache type of thing and not noro-level stomach issues but a little gurgly throughout the morning. Still had a headache last night but it's subsided this morning.

I ate some apples Monday...could it have been one of them?
