Some of you seem to think the B1G is going to be 5 elites/bluebloods and then 13 Indianas. Just not the case.

It will be three tiers with a huge gap between tier 1 and 2 and much smaller one between 2 and 3.

Dude gets a 42-14 win and gets the boot.

They have to have another guy lined up because I'm not sure what could've caused a termination in that win.

Things must be bad behind the scenes.

They got blown out by Washington, but otherwise their 4 other losses were by a combined 13 points.

Yep.

Penn State fired their OC today. Struggled vs. Michigan and Ohio State. So kinda makes sense but at the same time - IDK.

The thought of "the haves" being independent is probably not far fetched. Using the ND tv deal as a basis I could see at least 6-8 more being enticed by the prospect of grabbing the $$. No more rules or limits to what or how they make it. The could pay top$ to bring in dogs to beat up on and limit the times they play each other. Will this be the way TX undercuts the SEC??

The "just throw it deep" guy has to be feeling a tiny bit of self satisfaction after watching the Michigan and OSU games.

Guess Franklin finally agreed that there was something wrong with the offensive scheme.

Didn't even get 1 year
Yeah, that was a tough situation he inherited but at the same time, it was pretty clear that it did not look like it was going to get turned around and I get it. I believe his contract was structured to lead to the possibility of an early break and was more incentive based / more coming into his bank account if he was there longer but I could be wrong about that

Was just going to post about Hoke... sadly, it seems that time of year. Yes, the money is obviously nice and everyone in coaching appreciates this side of it but still. Never easy seeing careers end and jobs terminated.
