NFL: Kansas City Chiefs Thread

Not expecting much from Hardman other than the same kind of role he played last season. I think Rice is starting to play himself into a bigger role and might be becoming Mahomes favorite WR target.

We need to use Ross more as well. MVS can be the deep threat, and you have Ross/Rice/Moore/Toney in any other format. Also, the defense has been fantastic and thats without Omenihu who can play Sunday

I'd still like to get another WR before the deadline. Doesn't need to be a #1 but a solid player. Would juju be on market or make sense to comeback also
I’d like to get someone to replace MVS. He’s been worthless this season.

Chiefs have a tough schedule! The Miami game could easily be an L, at Miami. The Eagles, Bills, and Bengals are brutal, but at least they get them at home! And the Chargers twice still.

Unless they get a few things fixed, they could easily lose 3 of those games. Getting the homefield in the playoffs will be a challenge this year!

The Miami game is in Germany. And Mia, Buf, and Cincy don't exactly have cakewalk schedules either. Hell, Cincy is sitting at last place in their division, even though I think they finish no worse than second. I think it will take 4 or fewer losses to get the #1 seed in the AFC and that might be a tall task for the teams with more than one loss already.

I disagree. Mahomes is having his worst year statistically so far, but the defense has been really good. If you remember last year, it took some time for him to get the chemistry figured out with his WR's, and I think this year is going to be the same. They struggled until about week 6 last year as well. Not saying any of these games are sure things, but I have also learned not to bet against Mahomes and Co. down the stretch

Ah! Thanks for the reminder/heads up on the Miami/Germany game!

I wonder how the teams play this, travel-wise, gong to London, Germany (Berlin?)? Will they travel a couple of days early to some of the jetlag to wear off?

I'm not counting the Chiefs out for winning any of these difficult games. And I agree with you that if the offense comes around, the Chiefs could win all or most of them. That would be nice.

It is a tough schedule though.

Competing schools of thoughts on this. The old conventional wisdom was to get there well in advanced to let the body acclimate. New thought is to get there as late as possible to ignore the differences in time. Bills tried that latter and looked tired, but that wasn't the greatest example as I think the Jags spent the entire week over there since they played in the London the week before.
