Yesterday I heard 2 guys being verbally abusive to the nurse helping them. Maybe they were in extreme pain but that isn't really an excuse.

When Lew was in the hospital after his stroke, there was a woman down the hall who was delirious most of the time, and fairly profane while she was at it. The nurses spent a LOT of time trying to calm her down. I don't think she meant to be abusive, but man...she really let them have it.

All of mine have been good, 2 real good and 1 great. They have something called the Daisy award given monthly. I'm going to nominate the great one

Last year my firstborn's firstborn did the same thing, and I wasn't there. So sad.
