Now you have to do that on every field goal. If he misses one and we catch you looking. . . XD
The kicker seemed Ike he was trying to kick it when it was just lying on the ground for a while. Holder needed to just pick it up at some point and run
I was getting water. I heard it was skipped off the ground.
I don't think it skipped. I saw the box score and Chase was credited as 3/4 on PATS. That definitely wasn't on him.
It wasn't horrible, but the holder had to reach for it, then pull it back and set it down. When he set it down, it laid flat. I'd say it was 30% on the snap, 70% on the hold.
Yeah that was the worst part of it -- I thought if you botched it badly enough you were supposed to pick it up? They were very lucky the blocking was good (for a change).
A for me. Several punts went into the end zone when our coverage team was in position to down it.. Regardless, it was the best that unit has looked in my recent memory
That's nit picking though. Better a touchback than a big return swinging momentum. We didn't need to make a huge play at that time in the game. Could they have played better? Sure but not much.
Hassel was wrong about “Blum’s NIL kicker” so far but right about the motivating factors with ISU entering this game as the team being doubted.
I've been doing that for years. Ever since Shaggy was our kicker. Didn't we lose something like three games in overtime because of his missed field goals? Cost us a chance to play in the CCG. I still can't believe he made those 5 field goals against the Squakeyes. I forgave him because of that win. Sweet Redemption.
