Probably naive to belive the o-line could become good all of a sudden, but pleasantly surprised by special teams so far.

The ******* line can’t get a push on UNI. The run game isn’t working. Let’s see what Rocco can do. I’m sorry but the play calling still feels very Manning like.
Don’t panic yet. We are in control of the game and playing well in two of the three phases. Don’t shoot yourself in the foot on offense when you don’t need to do anything crazy yet on that side of the ball.

That was a nice little play design for Dean on that catch. Run blocking needs to shore up.
Yes but when you essentially are running 1 one play that everyone puts in freshman football - its not exactly hard to stop. Especially when you run it 5 of the last 7 plays. Especially when the announcers state, UNI has one its best defensive lines its had. Which is saying something.

Its early. I get you want to start basic, work the fundamentals.

But you need a small amount of creativty.

A pick 6 and a great punt return or the game is still 0-0.

Worse than naive--just plain stupid at this point.

Next year there's a chance for improvement, but we're still stuck with the same like 4-5 dudes we keep being told are greatly improving every year.
