He was joking about that

If message board activity was key, we’d be up there with Alabama. I’m not sure how or why but CF has something as a social platform.

I was shocked how dead every Utah board was this summer. What was there was hilariously stupid and arrogant, but all 4-5 of their boards have 5% of the volume of CF at best. The longest threads are like 40 posts during their craziest moment in history.

All of the Iowa Everywhere pods seem to change personalities a lot. I'm sure it's hard with everyone having real jobs and doing pods as a side gig.

Agreed. The realignment saga has really opened my eyes to how much more active Iowa State message boards are compared to a lot of other schools.

I think the closest I've seen was the Arizona 247 board, at least when realignment was hot and heavy. Still not as much traffic as CF, but when rumors were flying it had the same feel of CF, where it felt like keeping up with the thread was full time job. If you stepped away for a few hours there were 10 pages of posts to go through. Probably has a lot to do with whose running the site. CW and Scheer are both pretty good at their jobs.

Do they? I mean they've added new ones, but the only one that doesn't exist anymore, and for the better IMO, was the Stanz/Jorbo one. Jon Miller has been MIA for awhile, but CW has assured the listeners that he'll be back.

Arizona hoops is an intense fandom. My friend and neighbor lives for it and we’ve been excited to be in big 12 together for a few years.

It's a good concept and all but personally I care about Iowa State and have no desire to listen to the tools of the other schools talk about anything.
I get where you're coming from. I don't listen to any of the Jon Miller only pods that recap their football games, nor the newer one with Leistikow and that hack from the Athletic, but I'll listen to any of the combo ones with CW/Miller or CW/Hassel.

Does anyone listen to Miller and his constant lip smacking?

I thought it was supposed to be more of a general Big 12 podcast? Made it all of what, 2 episodes? Lol
I guess there was a Big 12 element to it but still ISU focused. Lol yeah. I know it's the nature of the business but has to be wildly frustrating for Chris.

It's not like you're forced to listen to any of the other shows that you don't want to, or any of them at all.
