MLB: ***2026 Minnesota Twins***

Couple of thoughts on the game last night:

- Polanco made two fantastic plays that Julien would not have made. The difference between the two defensively is really large.
- Gallo sucks. But he is a much bigger dude in person than I expected.
- Wallner and Lewis both have such sweet looking swings. Like gorgeous looking swings. If that’s the future, we should be in good hands.
- Little JM and my seats were in the overhang in right. Almost had two balls during Tigers BP. He leaned over into the flowers and yelled at Max everytime he was done playing catch before the top of the inning and finally got him to throw one up but a dad grabbed it as it was about to his glove and gave it to his son. That bastard….
- Duran’s new entrance (especially during night games) is: Bad. Ass. It has to be one of the coolest in baseball.
- The new entry process is 10x better than it was before.
- Target Field is such a good setting. Twins fans are spoiled. The crowd was awesome. The new video board is ginormous and great.
- Wallners homer is something little JM will remember forever. Baseball is a special, special game.

Let’s be real. Max probably teased you on purpose. He probably knows you’re on CF and read all the **** we talked about him on here.

I’m heading up for a game vs the Guardians in a couple weeks. Can’t wait.

Ok. True.

Max, you’re a fragile little b*tch. Grow some balls and play CF once in a while. And for gods sake, change your swing plane. We don’t need to see you hit another god damn ground ball to 2nd.
 
Glad you had fun. Target Field is a really nice ballpark. I was at the game against the Red Sox when the umps botched that call at first base. The Red Sox runner was very clearly tagged out... even the NY office upheld it. Rocco got tossed for arguing the call. Rocco was right.

If the right pieces can get healthy, this team is built better for the playoffs than the 2019 team that could mash homers all season long.

The other perk to winning the division is you get all your games in Minnesota in the best of 3 wildcard round.

The 6th is going to be a problem the rest of the way. Starters finally start to falter and you only have Jax and Thielbar for the 7th and 8th before Duran. They needed to get an actually decent arm at the deadline.

Maybe in the playoffs they can get a couple middle innings if needed out of Ryan or something to get the only decent arms in the pen we have.
 
Twins are thinking about a 6 man rotation the rest of the way. That could be interesting.
 
With the winning run on third in the 10th, I was hoping Mr. Analytics Rocco would intentionally walk at least one guy, but nope. The dribbler to third that won it would have been an easy force.
 
Taylor's blunder cost them today. He nonchalantly went after a roller to the OF in extra's and his team is fighting for a pennant. At least show some grit.....little things.
 
Twin Cities friend of mine, and a Cyclone, has about 20 Twins bobbleheads she wants to get rid of (decluttering). What are these things worth? I looked on Craigslist and they seem to be asking anywhere from $10-15 to $25 for some. I think she'd just like to sell the whole lot to someone and not mess around with individual bobbleheads. Think asking $100 for the lot would get a buyer that would maybe try to resell individually and make a couple of bucks?

As long as they aren’t broken or super dinged up I’d probably buy the lot for $100 as a twins fan and collector (not a reseller). Feel free to PM me if you want.

What’s she want for the Buxton one if she even has it? My son would lose his mind if that showed up in the mail some day.

I’d love to buy the lot for $100 but Mrs JM would probably also lose her mind if I spent 100 bucks for a bunch of bobble heads.
