I almost feel worse for Oregon St. and Washington St. fans than I did last night. The hour long optimism this morning that appears to have been a ploy so Oregon/Washington could negotiate a better deal with the Big 10 is like getting run over by a truck then thinking you might have miraculously avoided serious injury to have the truck then back over you.

idk... i still think it is just Arizona. fox is footing the bill for ORWA and not sure they will have much appetite left. ASU and Utah might be bound for the MWC.

But with UO\UW out the door, the big 12 might be able to take Arizona, then get ASU\Utah to agree to reduced shares in a way that may appease the media partners. What are they going to do, stay in the corpse of the pac 12 with Cal\Stanford\OSU\WSU?

Savage move by the B1G to murder a conference like that in cold blood.

Good thing the Big12 waited so it can't be blamed for destroying such history and tradition.
i mean... this is totally our fault. if we hadnt been flirting with the mediocre members, than ORWA could have balanced out a league.

This appears to be news as well

"However, with the departures of Arizona, Arizona State and Colorado, the Big Ten saw the opportunity to add the Ducks and Huskies without paying them full media shares since the Pac-12 is in “disarray,” sources said."

Quite the spin when this was announced first.
Whar Utah?

Or did we settle on UConn instead? ;)

Seems like getting both Arizona and Arizona State would have an advantage. I don't think we'd have to worry much about ever losing either one of them to another conference.

They got Iowa Stated. Everyone is gone, then give them great hope, then rip the heart out

Based on this thread, it appears that most/all of the Arizona BOR are ASU guys, so they aren't going to make it easy for Arizona to go solo.
