Who would BY get anyway? UCONN and be at 15?

ASU will be the next team, they know it, Big 12 knows it, Pac 12 knows it. Crow just wants ORWA to put the final nail in the coffin, first.
Maybe…or what if he got Oregon or Washington. Then you’re sitting there knowing there’s a good chance that if the Big 12 doesn’t get the other, it’s them and Stanford to the Big 10 and you or Utah in the Big 12.

I think this new PAC/MW conference could be kind of cool. A lot of underrated brands, especially if they can snag Memphis, SMU, and Tulane in the process. I’d take that over MACtion any (Wednes)day of the week.

We do not have a chance at Washington and Oregon. That was a 1 day dream.

In a world where admin and executives are getting blasted for being ******** for putting money over anything else during this realignment, Crow is the one person with any power who is saying “wait a minute, this isn’t right” and people are blasting him for not immediately hopping on the train?

I would agree with you except Crow's reasoning behind dragging his feet is that he thinks the Big XII is a downgrade and beneath ASU as a conference to be affiliated with.

I will not stand for this MACtion slander. Frankly, the MAC is what all conferences should aspire to: a conference of like institutions that make geographic sense

You’re right it would be like a MWC+. But the Maction thing is overkill. MWC is already so much better than MAC. Don’t ***** out like that. Even MAC schools think it’s beneath them. Leave that to MAC and funbelt

I’m not saying we do or don’t, but everyone assumes the Big 10 is taking Washington and Oregon…and possibly Stanford and Cal too. But what they really know is they only want three of those four. What if they take Stanford and decide to only add two…and hope for ND? They can always add someone with Notre Dame. We should be choosy too. I’m not sure we need ASU at this point.

And Lute Olson, Arizona coach, returned to the state of Iowa in 1983 and lost to Johnny Orr, a few days after Iowa State soundly beat Texas.
What? Lute Olson coached Iowa from ‘74-75 to ‘82-83 the left for Arizona for the ‘83-84 season.

ASU has turned into an online degree puppy mill … only thing they have going for them is smoking hot coeds so hope they join the Big12.

I would say it seems more like some of these guys are sitting on the Titanic listening to piano music, talking about how it’s unsinkable. Meanwhile…

Some of that is an attempt at self preservation. He has said some not so great stuff, and is being proven wrong. He was also a huge proponent of Scott, and looks like a fool for it.

He is trying to save face, but is failing at it, which is making him look worse, incompetent.
