Also, Scheer's been a bit of a **** in this. I know about a week ago he said "respectfully, Oregon State and Washington State don't have the value to go to the Big 12." Which regardless of whether is true, is a **** move, especially trying to hide behind putting "respectfully" first
Well he’s in the media, so the fact that his personal brand has clearly increased is probably a win for him.

In the 1980s, Oregon, Oregon State and Washington State almost dropped out of the PAC because of financial difficulties. You feel sorry OSU and WSU, yes, but they have been fighting this off and on for years. And in the 1950s, the PAC folded up and formed again because of a pay to play scandal. They may be conference of champions, but PAC has been the most unstable of the major conferences for years.

Right, but we all know that. That doesn't mean it isn't being a bit of an ass. And I think he knew that too, which is why he tried putting "respectfully" in front

Iowa State fans were rightfully upset when people on twitter were talking about how we were going to be left behind after OUT because we didn't have a high enough value/contribute anything
I am hoping that we, as ISU fans, can enjoy our good fortune going forward without celebrating anyone's potential misfortune. I don't see that happening on this board, but Twitter is a whole different animal...

I have zero interest in making fun of Oregon State or WSU through all this. They both seem like really cool schools with good fanbases similar to ours. It wasn't that long ago we were inches from being in their predicament. I truly do feel bad for them as they don't deserve this.

100%, everyone here should be able to sympathize. We are all sitting on the shoulders of giants.

At least with the new Big 12 (even without the Pac 12 entrants) I get the feeling that we’re all on equal footing again. Right now I don’t think there’s a single school that could leave the Big 12 right now that would make me say “ah ****, here we go again”.

I've also seen it some on reddit. I feel like I've seen it a bit on here, but there are so many posts it can be difficult to tell

Before all this is over I think we need to pour one out for SMU. Until the B1G stepped in to actually kill the Pac12 they were gonna be the “great add” to keep the conference afloat. With the MWC buyouts so high, teams like SMU were in the catbird’s seat….for about a day. Sorry SMU, you are still the team that could have been TCU but just weren’t.

They should be running to Yormark at this point. If Arizona is in without them, how certain are we he won’t pivot away from ASU altogether?
Who would BY get anyway? UCONN and be at 15?

ASU will be the next team, they know it, Big 12 knows it, Pac 12 knows it. Crow just wants ORWA to put the final nail in the coffin, first.

50/50 sounds optimistic and based on an "it does or it doesn't" list of options.
Real odds would suggest it's about a 99% chance the conference is dead, wouldn't they?

He had it -250 to survive earlier in the week. And that the Pac12 media deal would exceed the Big 12. And that no Pac school would go to the Big 12. And that all Pac schools would stick together.

The dude hasn’t been correct about a single thing.

I've seen a few posts on here too. Not so much in the last couple days as the current situation became more really.

Stay classy everyone.

Part of that is because he has been going back and forth with Canzano for a year now. Canzano is basically a Oregon State mouthpiece.
