Cal doesn't have fans.

The biggest chaos comes if the Big 12 takes Colorado and Oregon and then tells everybody else there's no room at the inn.
Can't see that happening from a media standpoint. Adding 4-6 Pac schools creates variety of late start games and also creates more cross-country matchups that peak fan interest.

Oregon/CU would be a home run. But adding UA, ASU and Utah would be a grand slam.

Looks like he retweeted this with slightly different verbiage:

That seems like a big statement to make when I’m sure a LOT of discussions are taking place way out of his reach. It could be the only move for a small bit, but not hugely likely.

You are a much better person than I my man.

The amount of **** the members of that conference talked and continue to talk about us and our "truck stop conference" is making this incredibly enjoyable.
Sure, I completely get that. I’m getting a lot of schadenfreude from those fans too. I just don’t think they’re the majority by any means.

I’d also just say as an Iowa State and Wisconsin fan (so someone that has been on the outside on CF), we have some ******** who talk a lot ****. And I wouldn’t enjoy fans of other teams dunking on us because we had a few ******** that liked to talk ****

Yeah, let’s take a pay cut to add schools just because they are “like Iowa state”. I’m sure all the Big12 presidents would love that idea.
Nobody felt bad for Iowa State when we went through this **** 3 times in a decade. The Pac 12 is no saint in causing this realignment merry go round when they tried to take 4 Big 12 schools back in 2010 (they were successful with Colorado). I'm sorry but I don't feel bad for the remaining Pac 12.

Definitely agree, because that throws an already disastrous contract negotiation into flux for all the other schools. The ones that have been on fence are going to get a bit jumpy to say the least.

Power move would be giving CU a full share since they were the first to move and giving everyone else a partial

I think they get full share because they’d be starting at the beginning of the new media deal and the end of of the PAC deal. So their are no penalties or fees for leaving that would have to be made up.

AZ will 100% be applying for membership. CO moving will certainly tip them over the edge. Now, how many Big 12 spots are actually available?
