Slow day in here today. Went to the I cubs game tonight. People watching at a baseball game is interesting
Right after we walk in I saw a guy with a button up jersey that was not buttoned up. Several ladies in tube tops, some of them would knock themselves out if they had to run. Some interesting tattoos. There is always a fair amount of people wearing different ball team apparel, seems like I always see a red Sox fan.Tell us more!
We don't believe people unless they take pics.Right after we walk in I saw a guy with a button up jersey that was not buttoned up. It was a beautiful night for a game.
Daughter has longer hair. She just got her hair trimmed up a couple inches. $85. I don’t spend that much on haircuts all year. No color or anything for her since she’s 20. I always thought hair dressers didn’t make much but I’m starting to change my mind.

Don't most have to "rent" their chairs at the place they work? They average something like $20-40K depending on state or area.
The shears, razors replacement etc. goes into the cost.
I would guess if it paid better, more people would go into the industry.

When I read the HS graduation plans, many of the girls announce they are going into it. Town I'm in has more than I can count it seems. I just figured it was low paying due to the oversupply of them. Maybe I'm off. I have went wild and now get haircuts about every 2.5 months to 3 months. I used to basically shave my hair off (I was wearing a cap, you thought I was bald) and cut it when it started getting ready to curl up; so about 4-4.5 months. My barber has people who schedule every 3 weeks. My guy just went up to 15, I had been paying that for a bit since I was tipping him a couple extra ahead of time. They average something like $20-40K depending on state or area.

Note to self. If I ever meet BC in person, don't hug him.i don't feel like working today, although I have to. I also feel like just being left alone, also not an option as the wife is the complete opposite and guessing we will have to go somewhere with a large group of people. We went to a movie the evening of the 4th and I figured it would be fine since it would be no people to deal with. Well, my wife runs into her friend's parents, the one set that drives me absolutely nuts. The dad will try to hug me every time when he first sees me. I managed to use my wife as a buffer this time and always have her between us at first. 45 minutes of listening to him and trying to look/act like I cared and actually wanted to be in the conversation was brutal.
I tend to hug quite a bit. I guess I generally do it for people I haven't seen in a while. I'll have to make that note too.Note to self. If I ever meet BC in person, don't hug him.
Sorry - that kind of comes naturally to me. I hate shaking hands because people always grab too hard & hurt my arthritic thumb.![]()
I didn't grow up around huggers, even grandparents didn't hug more than small grandkids and adults hugged very, very seldom, males almost never. Handshakes were the thing, really glad to see someone might include a semi-hug.Note to self. If I ever meet BC in person, don't hug him.

And share here.We don't believe people unless they take pics.
If I know you it’s fine. I was raised to not express emotion, Bavarian blood and military style. Women don’t bother me but another man randomly hugging me is out of my comfort zone, it’s not an anti gay thing just preference. I don’t initiate handshakes either.Note to self.
