I just ate some TGI Fridays cheddar & sour cream potato skins chips.

We got old fart permanent licenses a couple of years ago, but we have not availed ourselves of them yet.
That your wine chiller in the background, or do you keep your TV on the floor?
We too, keep them everywhere. I thought the first had been attached but this one has one upped his brother. He may go to college with it. I'm sure we should be taking it but man he works himself up. And at night and sometimes during the day he does it enough to make himself puke and that is highly effective at training the parents to keep the paci available. My firstborn was very fond of his plug (a NUK). And we were very good at forgetting it...so when we were out and about and he started requiring it, we would stop at a store & buy another for him to use. I think at one point we had at least a dozen around the house & car.
His dad was the TA for a micro lab and while talking to some students during class he reached into his pocket for something and pulled out one of son's plugs. Ooops!

My wife pretended to suck up our daughters with the vacuum except for the one she had. Our daughter then sucked the last one up in the vacuum herself giggling and never wanted one ever again. We too, keep them everywhere. Things we didn’t understand fully when we were young. I remember the bicentennial a smidge but didn’t know why it was a big deal.Saw on Twitter that today is the 160th anniversary of the infamous charge of General Pickett at the Union forces positioned on Cemetery Ridge at the Battle of Gettysburg. Made me feel old since Little Boxster was around for the 100th anniversary. The 100th anniversary years of the Civil War were a big deal and many issues of Life magazine featured battles of that war. Little boy me just ate that stuff up. Also, family was into puzzles, the hardest one was made from a civil war battle painting. Think it was this one below. I would have just made the 10-year-old part for this 1961 puzzle.

We were able to break some things by the reward type thing. The kids could start Sunday school at 3, but we told them they had to be fully potty trained and even no pull ups so all ours were done by their third birthdays. I think our oldest was told that we were going to AZ and they didn't allow them on the plane or in AZ so that was the end for him. I forget our youngest, I don't think he was ever very attached.we did the whole paci fairy thing with the first and he's was like **** that. One month of screaming bedtimes. For hours. Finally broken by a trip up north. The hiking and activities wore him out enough that he passed out without it and slept hard. Plus the change of location made it not as obvious of a departure from his routine. Think we'll do that with this one too. We need to get his daytime use removed first. And his daycare move earlier this summer they did get it removed there so he does nap at daycare without it. We do have a trip the end of this month, we could give it a college try there. I'm not super concerned at the end of the day but man he loves that thing.
He gave it up about four months after his brother was born (he was nearly 2). He realized his brother didn't use one, and decided that he didn't need to either. Of course, the younger one sucked his thumb, which was worse...and a much harder habit to break. We too, keep them everywhere. Just got over. Cubs were up 6-0, but the Brewers came back to win 8-6.When is your game?

Not even the craziest game of the day. Astros Rangers was nuts. You'll have to look at the box score for that one. That sounds like it would have been a good watch.
Cubs still suck. Was fun for a couple innings before the bullpen struck. Until that point I thought the Brewers pitcher was the one in trouble.
