OK, this "tracking/following you around on the internet" after you look at something has gone too far. Background: I've read and posted in the Backyard Critters thread, which was just started two days ago. This morning on my way to work I see an opossum in the opposite lane. I think he was dead. He sure wasn't eating ticks.
Update: he's either definitely dead or has a high tolerance for pain. And crows.

Some dude must think UPS drivers are cool. Pull behind this other truck at the co-op. Has his dog riding shot gun. When he jumps out he had brown shorts, brown shirt and some weird, probably $10pair, shoes on with dress socks. Looked younger than me.

Maybe he's a UPS driver done for the day. :D

We delivered scrap pieces of wood to a guy today, had to chase after his dogs that got out and ran into the woods across the street, that was fun. While we were waiting for the guy to get home to pay us, a double-horse drawn carriage was coming down the street. As it got closer, we could see a pilot car and then a line of cars behind it so we figured it was a funeral procession. When the carriage got closer, I could see the casket was a small one and pink in color, so that was sad.

The guy never showed so we left. He said he'd be home in 30 minutes when we called to say we were coming, so we waited a little bit before we left. 90 minutes had passed by the time we had went over there, recovered the dogs, dumped the wood, waited for the procession clear and he still wasn't home. Guy always tries to lowball us on firewood anyway so we won't be going back there.

No flex … just giving a volunteer some cred for saying 604 names. Extra cred for only having 3 mistakes.
We had an exchange student living with us way back when - his last name was Hauke, prounced HOWkuh. He heard Hickey, Heekee, all kinds of bad pronunciations. My favorite (and what our family still calls him to this day) was Hockey.

At graduation, the principal had taken the time to practice his entire name Sascha Heiko Georg Rolfe Hauke, and actually pulled it off when announcing Sascha's name. We gave the principal a standing ovation. :D

Dang they keep reworking my job and it actually keeps getting better, pretty soon someone else will be willing to do it.
