Who drank whiskey tonight and how awesome was it?

Me, I drank some Japanese Whiskey and it was pretty fn awesome.

The Aldmore, Highland scotch tonight after a rainy mountain bike ride on the front range (it was super lame). more peaty than I remember.

Japanese whiskeys are good but I've had a few skunkers - but no diff than any other style

I had a nice Hawkeye whiskey aging in the garage for a month. Nice and crisp neat.

Big win for me yesterday was buying a bottle of Blanton’s and getting the letter B, resulting in me having all the letters finally. (Extra special b/c it was the annual KS Select Single Barrel)

Threw a shot of Makers Mark on my ice cream last night. Kids thought getting hot fudge was the treat for their sundaes. Someday, they'll discover that there's better alternatives for toppings.

Popped open a bottle of Weller full proof a couple nights ago - first foray into wheated bourbon. Fantastic stuff.
