I gave up soda years ago. It was tough at first, but I dont miss it at all 9 (if I'm drinking bourbon I'll mix it with diet coke but that's the only time I drink it anymore). Coffee and water is pretty much all I drink anymore and really enjoy the 'taste' of water.

That said, Pepsi>coke

I go through about 12-14 a day. My Dr says I need to drink more water and my response is always that it’s the number one ingredient.
Holy ****. Do you buy in bulk or pick up a 24 pack every other day or what?

Totally agree. I drink the diet versions, but Pepsi tastes more sugary and Coke tastes more acidic.

Same on the diet versions. Once i switched over, regular soda of any kind just tastes too syrupy now. Not drinking all those extra calories of course is also nice.

And I thought I drank a lot of soda.

With the jump in soda prices (it used to be like $3 a 12 pack now its like 8 unless you catch the sales) I can only assume you've had to take out a second mortgage to support your habit.

Why is it so expensive? I've been drinking more recently than I had been as I've been cutting alcohol out more and it's nice to have something other than water. I thought it would be a bigger cost savings too but soda was more expensive than I was expecting (still cheaper than booze).
