The narrative since the playoff loss has been that they’d extend him so I’m not putting a lot of stock into that tweet. He’s usually pretty accurate though. It'll be interesting who they get as I don't think they have anyone on the current roster. We'll see what KAM does.
These aren't official signings. They have to be under the cap by the 15th. These signings will take place after that. How are the Vikings $7M over the cap and able to sign free agents?

https://www.yahoo.com/sports/kirk-cousins-contract-restructure-saves-172703777.htmlVikings converting part of Cousins salary to a bonus. Frees up $16 million in cap space for this year, and pushes it to dead money in the two void years he has on his contract. Doesn't affect their ability to part ways after this season.
Also, they're re-signing Bradbury to a pretty modest 3 year deal. Prior to this season, I would not have been happy about that, but prior to getting hurt, he played pretty well this year, so I'm okay with it. And it doesn't sound like it was a very big contract.
I hope they find a team willing to trade for Cook. He's a great back, but doesn't fit into this offense anymore. Mattison is more than capable to provide near the same output at a fraction of the price for Cook.Hadn't heard about Harrison Smith. Happy to hear that, I think he still has some good years left in him.
I'm really curious to see what the Mattison signing means for Cook. I can't picture any scenario where they keep both.
