YouTube TV Getting Ability to Split Into 4 Screens

Turned on my tv this morning and had this message. Didn’t opt into anything ever. Maybe I’m just a high priority client!

@CoachHines3 If you don't mind me asking have you been a Youtube TV subscriber for quite awhile? Do you have the extra "Sports Pack" package?

I'm a fairly new subscriber but do have the extra Sports Pack but it is not showing up on my screen yet. When I requested access yesterday they did tell me it may take a day or more for it to show up for me though.

I've been with them for about 3 years-

By "Sports Pack" do you mean this?

If so- I only add that during football season so I can get the NFL RedZone channel. It's usually pretty instant when I add it online. You have to use a computer in order to add/remove programs, I believe. The channels usually show up right away.

You may have to go into your settings and customize the channels as they may be "hidden" so you would have to unhide them.

In the settings- click "Live Guide" and there you will be able to move channels around to an order you like and also Hide/Unhide channels so they will show up on your Live Guide.

Yes, that was what I was talking about. You would think that anybody that pays extra for that they would give the multiview access to them since it shows they are actually a sports fan. Instead they will probably give access to a lot of people who never watch sports.

In my opinion- it's not much of a "Sports Pack" but it depends what you like, I guess.

Most the sports channels are already included in the basic package.

Yeah, other than Redzone I mostly get it for VSIN since I'm a gambling degenerate. :p

One of the things I love about YTTV is the ability to subscribe/unsubscribe so easy. I just have the sports package during the NFL season for Red Zone. I tried the 4k package for a month and the cancelled. Directv and mediacom made you jump through hoops.

Looks like I'm a higher roller in the top 50% too!

Does anyone know how to use this feature?

When the games are on there will probably just be a multiview option on your Home screen that you'll click on to launch the stream.

Ok, that's what I was thinking when I read the description, but through it was odd to have that feature, but not able to select your own shows in the future.
