Just looked at brackets; how was it determined who received a first round bye?

Instead of byes they should’ve had round one losers wrestle again in later that round. Winners wrestle once that round and the wrestlers that loose two matches are eliminated.

(I may not be explaining this very clearly…)

At the completion of round one then the net result of the number of wrestlers would be the same, I think.

Think head to head should be more. Saw a kid get throttled by another but since he had more forfeits and crappier comp compared to the other, he’s seeded higher.

I'm sure no matter what process they come up with, it won't be perfect. I'm just glad there is some sort of seeding in Iowa now so you don't have the completely random chance of two returning state Champs meeting in the quarters

All three commits get quick pins, as does little Naak. Danarii Mickel (Paniro's cousin) gets AJ Petersen in the quarters, that should be an exciting match.
