***2022-23 MBB General Thread***

WVU up 20-7 8 minutes in over TCU.

TCU looks bored and no energy. Recipe to lose big in Morgantown.

Key with TCU is to take good shots, rebound, and take care of the ball. In general those things are important, but they specifically limit their transition opportunities, which is where they shine. If you limit those opportunities they have a hard time excelling in the half court, which is why we are a really bad matchup for them.

Im stunned Ewing wasnt fired last year. That would have been like if we doubled down on Prohm last year

GU I'm sure is giving every benefit of doubt it can. ...

Ewing might not even be fired, maybe they'll find some mutual step-away arrangement. Although GU fired JT III, who had a lot more success than Ewing, so ...

Georgetown is 0-8 in Big East this year.

They went 0-19 in the Big East last year.

They've lost 27 straight Big East games.

They haven't won a Big East game since March 13, 2021.

Outside of Purdue, the whole Big Ten is average this year. I wouldn't be surprised if there are a bunch of teams in the 8 to 11 seed range from the Big Ten.

They'll sprinkle the other 8 teams outside of Purdue into this range to fluff fans again.

Whoa that beats Steve. Ewing is not a good coach. They wont fire a legend mid year but this is it.

Flipping between UConn and tOSU/Hoiball to see how the BTN homers can spin these two teams into being good.

UCONN loses after being up 15 at half to a very average Seton Hall team. They now have 5 losses in the Big East.

UCONN is having a season similar to us last year. Unranked...win a big tourney beginning of the year. Shoots up the rankings. Has a streak of losing...
