So you can fix your own John Deere now?

It was a good campaign to buy themselves another 4-5 years
Like many I grew among traditionalists standing by their per-historic Minneapolis-Molines, or Olivers. Then there were the "Runs like a Deere" crowd doting over their beloved machines.

I have had three of my family work at Deere's and to hear them now spout nasty words about the D' biz is sad. But the big money mobsters are in control. Say what you will but the honeymoon is long over as is the small family farm.

We've had this conversation many times on here. No company should have to give up the software driving their equipment, whether it be Deere, Ford, Case, etc. That to me is a trade secret and that's fine.

Customers should have access to the diagnostic equipment if they want it, which they already have access to.

Correct. This whole thing is a non starter.
