Gopher attendance is way down because they again suck this season. Maybe worst in 50 years. Sad, that place used to rock with a full crowd.

Thought this article in the Star Trib was interesting. They got the actual scanned tickets numbers as opposed to the sold tickets that all of the schools use for attendance. Not often you see a newspaper, or anyone, with the actual numbers.

The Gophers' announced attendance averages 8,551, and their actual number of tickets scanned averages just 3,313 heading into Saturday's home game vs. Nebraska. - Star Tribune

Good. Should make it easier for TJ to lock down Minnesota recruiting.

They made a flop hire. No one had a clue who he was. They really needed to try and make a flashy hire after Patino, but failed.

The only reason he gets next year is because he's got a 5 star center from California coming. His promise of keeping the Cities kids home has been a massive failure.

A little better on the gals side. Whalen is going to struggle in the Big Ten again but is starting three ranked freshman. She really needs to get some portal transfers to go with them for next year. Record will suck again but they almost have to give her another couple of years. Will be interesting to see how the portal being such a big deal impacts coaches tenures. Harder to wait for a coach rebuilding if current roster doesn't also wait, they can just leave and play immediately somewhere else.

Maybe they should use the Timberwolves excuse like OU and OSU use the Thunder excuse.

Creighton at UCONN on FOX. Big game for both. UCONN on a 2-game skid.

There was a double T called on Michigan and Michigan State early in the game. It's the same 3 refs from the Iowa game, anyone know what happened?
