Clark may not have much support next year with the other four being seniors. Bet Clark goes WNBA this spring.

She may not be eligible.

Step 1 - be out of collegiate eligibility, or renounce the remainder in writing

Step 2 - meet one of these conditions:
(a) be 22 years old by 12/31 of the draft year
(b) graduated or will graduate by July of the draft year
(c) be out of high school for 4 years

I agree. She can (and likely already is) making more in NIL deals than a WNBA contract would be worth. My guess is that she will stay at Iowa as long as she can regardless of the supporting cast (or lack of it)

Agree - except if they do not end up with a great year as a team she may want to go someplace where she can be a star / get NIL money / WIN big - not sure where that would be though / maybe Oregon since she is already on the Nike payroll.

Fair point, However, with Clark's attitude being what it is, my guess is she stays at Iowa and just tries to take over every game and be a star there. I could be wrong but, I see where you coming from as well. I think it's pretty safe to assume she won't jump to the WNBA until she has too though

She's probably not leaving early, but do you think her endorsement deals will go down as a professional?

I'm not even sure if she'll even stick in the NBA skinny ass gunner that doesn't play that much defense lots of women try for the NBA but most don't stick, room for her overseas though. The only player I remember hanging around for a bit out of any of the 4 Iowa schools is Bridget Carleton.

(b) is unlikely and (c) is a no. She misses the cutoff for (a) by a few weeks -- she turns 21 this coming January.

I would think that graduating by July would not be out of the question - am guessing a school like Dowling offered lots of opportunities to take college credit classes, plus most MBB / WBB players take summer classes now in order to participate in the summer workouts.

The other question about the endorsements transferring to the WNBA - I would be very surprised if that happened as ESPN / Media is not going to spotlight her as they do now. She is a big fish in College Basketball but will not garner near as much attention in the Professional Side.

All of this said I will be VERY surprised if she is not at Iowa next year (and probably he year after).

But the flip side is athletes are probably not taking a loaded class schedule during the year, especially in a sport like basketball that crosses both semesters.

I'm not surprised, but yet I am surprised...ISU is the dog in this one. But, they were the dog in the NC game as well. Hope we have a full game performance this time though!

Only 144 spots and they cut and add people at will all season long. The 144 spots are being chased by the best players in the world. It can open up other gigs though for name players. Was watching Gophers WBB on BTN and the analyst was 2022 Michigan grad and WNBA player Naz Hillmon. I could see Clark doing something like that.

I hear that she's gonna change her last name to Bohannon and play another 6 years.

What should we expect out of Soares vs Czinano? Soares has 3" on her, but rotates out with Mo often.
