Outgoing transfer tracker

I was going to say I was shocked we were going after an RB with how much hype Norton received (and how good Brock looked while healthy). But talent is talent and Harris is listed as a freshman so I'm all for going for him.

Probably saw what Charlie Jones did in an offense that actually throws to WRs and thought that would actually be nice.
He played like 6 plays the entire year. Injured the entire year. I am sure whoever he goes to will want a medical eval.

Brock and Norton have both shown to be solid backs when healthy, but also injury prone.

I both like and don't like that. He can play, I think, and I'd rather not have to face him at all than have him transfer into our conference. Love that he is burning the Hawks though, I suppose.
Arland Bruce isn’t a good WR. I wouldn’t worry about him at KState.
Seems like a good kid that works hard but just isn’t that good at this level.

Good to know. I seem to recall him making some plays as a True Freshman, but didn't hear much about him this season.

3 years? Hmm didnt think he'd have that much eligibility left. I guess this last yr would need to count as a RS yr.
Yeah I am wondering if he RS this season and maybe only played one year at IWCC? Although Cyclones.com lists him as a Jr. Perhaps he has a covid year?

From his HS tape I thought he would be a good player because it seemed like he could make guys miss and was good in space etc. But I haven't seen any of that at Iowa. He is an ok slot guy but hasn't shown he can be a dynamic play maker at all.

Well, Bruce DID play at Iowa. Which other Iowa WR's were dynamic play makers, other than Charlie Jones, who was Big Ten first team?

Oh wait, Jones was First Team at Purdue. Was only a dynamic punt returner at Iowa.

Honestly I think Bruce could be a good receiver on a different team. If you told me that Charlie guy that transfered to Purdue was good I would have said no. However, the system they play in you can't really tell how good or bad they actually are.

Jones was a pretty good receiver for Iowa, they just didn't throw him the ball much. When they did throw it to him, he made some incredible catches.

Bruce on the other hand was pretty underwhelming this year. Johnson leaving hurts in the sense that he was good when he played, if Bruce left it wouldn't hurt Iowa much. Kind of a Tyrone Tracy type.
