And we really weren't since I didn't see anything about the Big 12 meet on Friday. Guys finished 2nd and gals 3rd. Guys were ranked earlier and seem to have faded some and have fallen to RV. Gals are not quite to the level they have been in past years. NCAA regionals are November 11th.

The states top HS runner, Ballard's Paitlyn Noe, just broke the Iowa's gals cross country record. She's down to ISU and Arkansas for college career.

Addison Dorenkamp, junior from Valley, isn't far behind her and both are Top 50 ranked nationally. Hope we can get both of them. Frankly don't know much about are recruiting but have seen these gals mentioned quite a bit in the Iowa HS press coverage.

for the women, losing Callie Logue is the difference in being 2nd or 3rd. OKState ran great on Friday

She is elite. Hope we get her. I think she would have placed 19th in the boys race.
