Also, hidden in that list is Cam. I've seen that kid a few times and I like what I saw. I'm not saying he's some future world-beater or something but he can throw it out there and is no slouch. He would be able to hold his own in a lot of matches.

Looking forward to seeing all of the young guys. Knopick, Swiderski, Paniro/Cam, Gaitain, Schon.

Hoping there are a couple future AAs out of this bunch.

A couple in addition to the ones Swiderski will get.

I guess I was just looking at the names above, didn’t mean to leave him out. I think manny is a 2x AA. I think metcalf can really help bring out the best in him. He has a similar style albeit less aggressive.
Yea, I figured you were responding to my post highlighting only the guys in the wrestle off finals.

Manny is interesting. If Gaitain stays at 74, chances are Manny won’t start there. Most likely one of the 2 drops to 65 after Carr graduates.

I predict MJ ends up at 165 and Manny at 174 after Carr graduates

Other thoughts - There's a lot of excitement with our big name freshman. However, I'm just as excited to see if guys like Webster City's Cam Ph(won't event try to spell or pronounce) & Creston's 4x'r Fousek can make big jumps coming from small town IA and having better competition every day. I wouldn't rule any of them out of future lineups even though there appears to be a big gap right now. Perryman's 2-3 loss to Knopick is very impressive. I like the progress that I saw last year with Knopick. I hope these young guys are in a lot of open tourneys this year and I would be surprised if we see a quite a few flipped results from close weights like MJ/Manny and Knopick/Perryman/Fuessley. Also, I'm super impressed with Helgeson keeping it close with Broderson... He's another under the radar guy. It's great to have depth and our coaches are definitely making progress IMO.

The young guys outside the big names I’m excited to see how they develop - Perryman, Euton and Helgeson.
