They looked worse in the first half against UTSA at home and were down by double digits, but woke up in the second half to win by 2+ TDs

Always does. And it sucks to loose Reeder but McLaughlin runs really, really well. Man he looks fast. And tackles well. Between him and Myles I really like the athleticism of the young backers.

This team might not be good right now and we might need a new OC next year, but they keep fighting. Sometimes I just need to step back and appreciate that. It's not the most important thing, but it is something.

Winning do the same thing over and over is smart..

Just change it up like that last drive. Don't be so predictable. Just netted 7 points against a pretty good defense.

this is why I'm frustrated this year. Because despite the overall theme on the board - Manning is not a terrible OC. But yet the play calling and offense has been terrible and inconsistent - not even talking about the talent etc. But how inconsistently some of these schemes have appeared then disappeared. Its like he has a personality change mid drive or mid game -

But its just too consistent. Now we needs to discover a third running play.

The run game has been fine if Jirehl is in. Their up tempo clearly is the way to go but they will slow it down next drive I would almost guarantee.

Defensively we certainly are. We are IMO a top 5-8 defensive nationally thru 6.1 games

I will give Manning credit on the last drive, that was good. Texas is committing a lot of mental errors as well though, which is more of what I mean here
