Should've gotten it, but to be fair, I don't think defense was expecting Ewers to throw a line-drive, backward pass to a teammate who already was on the ground. Texas got lucky there.
Absolutely killing it out there! Has a TFL, got held another play or he would have had a sack, and then trips up the RB on that last 3rd down. Is he from Texas or what?
Now let's see what Manning can come up with? Our offense squanders so many opportunities, and eventually our defense gets worn down and gives up something. The defense is just nails though.... as usual.
I find it interesting that our D is often gashed with downfield throws but our opponents rarely choose to go that route.
Not sure benching the guy who leads the conference in passing is our solution.
They have been like this for the last 5 years, this team is just John Heacock/defense
I mean I guess it’s possible the zebras could’ve spotted Baylor 28 instead of 14 if our offense was at least average. That’s the only way I see it. This D plays like a winner. Tampa’s play to get the ball back in good shape last week was incredible. We only had to move the ball 18 yards at home with plent of time. Average O beats ku and ksu very easily.
