What happened to Jackie Schmillen?

Does anyone know what happened to Jackie Schmillen? I figured she was on vacation or something. But no formal announcement that she was leaving WOI. She definitely not a part of the morning show anymore and she doesn’t show up on there website either. She was great to watch over the years. Seems like a lot of individuals are leaving tv lately . I could only imagine how hard it would be on the early morning show and still trying to live a normal life.

I met her (briefly) and her father at the last opening round basketball tourney in Des Moines. They were all very nice and I talked to her dad for a while. Jackie took her shot on broadway when she was younger. Always admire people that follow their dreams even if life doesn’t exactly go as planned.

She was doing it in 2019 when I was Billy for the season. Jackie is awesome
