E-ticket Question

Last year I took screen shots of my tickets and parking pass and they scanned with no issue. When I took a screenshot today, I got a notice that said a screenshot will be unusable. Anyone have any insight on the change or if that is true?

And yes I know there are other ways to save them to my phone.

For ***** sake just add the tickets to you digital wallet - its literally easier than taking screenshots

No way around it. Reason for it is scammers were making screenshots of it and then selling to multiple people. This stops that.

Ticketmaster added the ability to have e-tickets generate a different QR code as time passes, requiring you to use the digital copy of the ticket when going in. This would require the venue to have scanners (the device, not the person) that know what to expect. I imagine take a screenshot, wait a bit and see if the code has changed will tell you if this actually happened or you're just getting the pop-up as a scare tactic

Cake, did it yesterday. From phone (Cyclones app) or online (cyclones.com), go to the tickets and hit transfer. You can send to a mobile # or an email address. Seriously easy.

I mean you can still get PDFs of the ticket and resell as many of those as you want. Not sure how taking a screenshot is much different.

The ticket office did tell us this week that the print option may go away after this year. Hope not.

I am not sure how many people still have printers at home. Everything seems to have gone to QR codes or on your phone in another way
