It's a ways from where you are staying but I always liked Bartoli's. Also liked Gino's East but thought Malnatis and Girodanos were underwhelming.

Funny enough, I've found the frozen Gio's that's shipped out to be better than what you get in the actual restaurant.

Haven't had deep dish in Chicago since I was a teenager but tried Giordanos in West Des Moines. Thought it wasn't as good as F&Os or what we make at home.

Anyone here been to the Silo for pizza? It's an Lake Bluff so probably not for someone just visiting downtown but I thought that place was fantastic!

Honestly...it is not my choice at all when it comes to pizza but I get that many people enjoy it. I have kind of liked "Detroit" style of late.

Yeah, I don't mind Detroit style. There is a new place in Des Moines that has that.

Bacino's at 2204 N Lincoln Ave is the best pizza i've ever had

If you need pizza after 11 pm, get Dimo's. A piece of mac and cheese pizza followed by some cookie pizza. Yum.
