He's in Cedar Falls today giving out the AJ Green Sportsmanship Award at a couple of the elementary schools.

He was wearing UNI gear if you'd like to read way too much into it.

Jake told Scott Reister that he thought AJ would stay in the Draft, so who knows at this point.

According to that Stadium report (which was dated May 25) there are already 120 guys staying in the draft with another 20 undecided. The draft is just 60 spots. I guess a lot of those guys know they won't be drafted but they just want to get on with a basketball career, even if overseas. Especially the older ones, like Conditt and Brockington. Green maybe falls into that category also. He is 22. So it may just come down to is he ready to get to work and life on the road, or does he want to have another year with his family here in Iowa?

Jake gave that quote before AJ was even at the GLeague Combine

You wonder. I mean, if he was 'that' interested in playing here, he probably would have came last year when his Dad did w/eligible transfer rules, to play in a P5 conference to advance his status. On the otherhand, I guess he didn't know what would become of a new coach after a 2-win season, tho, either. My bet is he's staying in and getting the 2-way deal enticement.

Just some random trivia to help pass the time.

A string of symbols like this to denote swear words is known as a grawlix.
Hey, thanks for sharing that. Had no idea, really, as I don't use 'grawlix' often. This 2 month AJ speculation is kinda ....well, long. Because it started last year already, too.

Considering we haven't had premium members over here gloating/hinting that they have all the details and 'simply joining premium' would grant you the same knowledge, I am guessing they don't know either. Value proposition taking a hit

It amuses me that people are on pins and needles about things like this. It will be/would be great if he comes here but if he doesn’t so be it. We’ll be better next year than we were this year regardless.
Mainly the fact we need him or we’ll lack offense similar to last season
