AJ Green Leaves the Portal - Staying in Draft

I had almost zero memory about Green's offer list and if/when ISU was in the mix for HS recruitment. So I searched. Probably common-knowledge for a lot of fans, but I wasn't sure. Virginia offered. Definitely didn't know that.

AJ was always a high major prospect. ISU/Prohm recruited him hard and was his top 5 (possibly even finishing a distant 2nd). He would have had many more HM offers but obviously with Kyle at UNI most coaches didn’t bother to pursue. A lot of fans and media were lobbying for Prohm to hire Kyle when TJ left for SDSU and get AJ too. Prohm ended up hiring Kane and the Green’s stayed Cedar Falls.
That was until Kyle come to Ames last year that is. Now AJ can live that ISU timeline for his last year. We’ll know soon.

This is spot on.

Nobody will absorb it but this is spot on.

Tony Bennett was the only coach that even did an in home because AJ was playing for Kyle no matter where Kyle was.

Possibly 18th at his position. 5 positions x18th = roughly 90th overall

If ISU hires Kyle and AJ ends up coming to ISU in 2018, does Tyrese Haliburton never come to ISU?

So you could've just said you have inside sources telling you he's going or probably going to Duke. That'd be the more direct way to say it.
