That’s not really the question. The question would be do you see him as being able to get a two-way contract?
Green would be a great addition for us but with what we'll be asking him to do (primary scorer/distributor) he is not to shoot 50/40/90 for us while playing in the best defensive league in the country.
What part is unclear about not an NBA player?
That seems like a challenge to AJ's game.
He should commit to ISU and see if he can get those splits just to prove he can in the best defensive league.
He would be right in that 40/50/90 ballpark. He would be playing better defenses than he saw at UNI but he would also be playing alongside superior talent. How many transfers at Iowa State came from less competitive conferences and saw a spike in their numbers playing in the Big 12? Kane and Brockington come to mind right off the bat.
He's never come particularly close to 50% overall. He'd probably have to shoot like 45% from 3 to make that happen. He's a career 41% shooter overall and he's been remarkably consistent at that. Again, prove me wrong AJ.

I don't often have inside info, but anybody saying AJG to ISU is a done deal is blowing smoke up your ass. He could easily end up at Duke from what I'm hearing.
Time to shut the place down, the needs to discuss literally anything has been solved.
I don't watch a lot of UNI so I pulled up some Green highlights a couple days ago and Hoiberg was definitely who came to mind for me. Physical appearance certainly is part of it but there are similarities.
When AJ finally makes his decision, we will have a week of message board elation or rejection, followed by two months of off season silence, only interrupted by fabricated issues. I will participate however!
