Looks like Crooks will be committing tomorrow. Uneducated guess think she will be heading to Iowa City due to their recent success of bigs. Anyone heard anything else?

Going to use this as a plug to get premium.

Interesting to see Sooners in the final five if that list is accurate. Guess it makes some sense to be in the running with Jennie B. being familiar with Iowa talent and maybe leveraging the Courtney Paris success in Soonerland.

Not sure why Minnesota or Wisconsin would be on the list other than as "filler".

Will be interesting to see if Crooks can be another Courtney Paris.

If she would end up being a Paris level player we might dominate the Big 12 in it's upcoming configuration. We are going to lose a significant piece of our league "power" when Texas and Sooners depart and it remains to be seen if Baylor can remain Baylor without Mulkey. I'm seeing a significantly weaker league.

Welcome! It will be interesting to see how Bill utilizes her because she is so much different than Bill's typical recruits. But her size and ability are very intriguing and she would look to give us an element we've really needed in the past few years.

Here's where the COVID crunch becomes interesting. We have four seniors this upcoming season -- two are using their COVID year (Ashley, Jordao) and two have the option to play an extra year in 23-24 (Kane, MEM). If Kane and MEM opt to play in 23-24 and nobody transfers out, our roster that year is now completely full, which makes it more difficult to bring in any transfers for 22-23.

It's definitely not a given that Kane or MEM will use the extra season, though, and the coaches probably already have an idea of their future plans. It's also not a given that we won't have anyone transfer away, although the May 1 deadline for immediate eligibility is fast approaching.

Yeah, that could be interesting. It's too many players at 15. We essentially played with 10 this year and weren't short on subs at all. Gotta think it will not be that exact roster come 2023. Someone(s) will leave, it's the norm these days.

I think we're all aware of how this commitment is....the missing piece for quite a few years has been a big who is feared....we haven't had that in a long time. Welcome to Ames, Audi!
