Just want to leave this here. Disgusting crap - but obviously shows how corrupt the NCAA is. Yet they will punish the Cleveland State's of the world to make it look like they are serious about these horrific crimes. UNC Student-Athletes? Yeah, my a$$!

Yeah, and when bb player Rashad McCants blew the whistle and showed his transcripts about his fake paper classes that he got credit and A's for - UNC athletics officials, Roy Williams, and other players said it didn't happen.
McCants: "I released my transcripts - you other guys do the same."
Then not a peep.

Nothing about this story is true.

- UNC is loaded at point guard. You have junior RJ Davis, a McDonald's All American, who just took UNC to the national championship game. You have Caleb Love, a 5-star McDonald's All American, who is probably coming back. You have incoming freshman Seth Trimble, a top 40 recruit. Then we have 5-star Simeon Wilcher coming in 2023.

- UNC currently has no open scholarships. If one were to open up, the immediate priority would be to find a stretch 4 who can offset the loss of 6'9" 3-point marksman Brady Manek. If a 2nd scholarship were to open up, the 2nd priority would be another wing scorer.

- InsideCarolina is the most heavily trafficked college basketball board on the planet. They haven't missed a scoop on UNC basketball in 20 years. Nobody on their premium board even knew who Tyrese Hunter was until somebody popped in to say "have you guys seen the rumor Iowa State fans are spreading?"

No one associated with UNC is spending $750,000 on a guard who shoots 27% from 3pt range. No one from UNC is tampering with a player who doesn't even have the slightest chance of getting minutes on our team next year considering we are loaded at his position next year (and for the foreseeable future.) I'm honestly a bit concerned you guys have taken such an obviously nonsensical rumor and run this far with it. This is flat earther level conspiracy nonsense.

This was a good post until you said someone who doesn’t have the slightest chance of getting minutes. That’s absolutely laughable and shows you don’t watch much basketball outside your conference and just looked at some stats.
Tyrese would get 'some' minutes at UNC (unclear as to how many; his shooting and turnover rate has to improve and will) but no where near what he is getting in Ames. He is the man here at the moment. This is the perfect place for him to improve his game in the hopes of one day playing in the League.

With that said this all may be a wake up call. We will need to address NIL, perks, etc. for our athletes.

You guys had the ability all year to put money directly in Tyrese’s pocket and get a personal video and it was only like $40. He must have turned it off recently though. Just saying

A good chunk of the bball team is on here too if you want to start throwing dollars: https://www.cameo.com/browse/athletes/ncaa/big-12/iowa-state

LOL then these folks would have to put their money where their mouth is.

Pffft, come back and visit about once a month this was relatively tame. The off season is filled with bad takes and ideas and the game threads are worse. LOL. But we enjoy it anyway.

It’s so much easier to not do anything and complain though
If it is truly 200k, I'll help fund that...if it comes with a new AD that actually embraces NIL and is innovative so that next time it is not all on me, and TJ says Hunter is worth it. Anyone know Wendy or TJ?

JP needs change or get out. It would be worth it to buy Hunter to make that happen.

My sources have confirmed there is something being discussed. But there isn’t a deal in place. No exact amount. Nothing has been penned.
