How do you figure that? Jacksonville beat Jacksonville St in the semifinals on Saturday.

Edit...nevermind.
I guess Jacksonville St was the regular season champ?

That's where my confusion came ... I had assumed Liberty was regular-season champ, ergo would have been qualifier if that was the default ... but Jax St was (One is E1 and the other W1 ... I didn't make note of overall conference record or consider tiebreakers) ... so when JU advanced to title game I thought it clinched regardless of result (admittedly, that'd be a dumb way to design it)

Thank you for setting me straight ... long story short, I got confused with the "default auto-bid" to regular season champ. (the divisional setup threw me off, for some reason ... so then I thought it was whichever non-Bellarmine team was in the final).
Not to mention there are two “Jacksonville” teams in the mix, further adding to the confusion

That’s right. Since Bellarmine is transitioning up to D1 from D2, they aren’t eligible for NCAA sanctioned post season play (stupid rule). Since the tournament champ can’t take the auto bid, it goes to the regular season champion (Jacksonville State).

There are a few games still going tonight, but none of them will impact the leaderboard. @BoredInKildee and @riceville98 are in the lead, but there are only five wins separating first and last, and there are still 21 games to go. Everyone is still in this as we move on to the big dawg tournaments.

I didn't have my picks handy while I was watching some of the games. I could have sworn I picked Chattanooga and Georgia State.

Hindsight, I may have cheered a little too much when they won.

I think there have only been 12 auto bids rather than 13 so far unless I’m missing something.

Correct, 12 auto bids, but all of us chose Iona for MAAC (lost in quarterfinal) — so that's the "13th data point."
Correct. And I was the only one who chose Howard (who lost), so I actually have 14 data points (and one less remaining possible point than everyone else).

BoredinKildee and Riceville are beginning to separate themselves from those of us that have more eliminated teams. A few more wins for them or losses for the rest of us and they will be unbeatable.

Illinois and Auburn out. Doesn’t directly hurt our Leaderboard Leaders, though. :)

C-USA: UNT is out (lost to L-Tech) … Looks like @ForbinsAscynt is the sole outlier for that league (has MTSU, which plays UAB in the other semi). Chance to make a move!
There's still plenty of variety in the picks. I just did the math, and if every single one of my remaining picks wins, I can take this by five points over the next highest player.

Odds of that happening? 50-50, which is pretty much where I sit on my win/loss ratio right now. :D

At least there's a CHANCE! :)

I would ask you to do the math for my chances, but I don't think I wanna know. (Hence why I'm afraid to do it myself :D )
