That's a really big problem. If you lose customers for a few weeks they may never come back to the brand.

No way we’re coming back. I’m sure the same could happen to the other brands, but yikes.

Kidlet ok?
Seems to be, had a fever the other day but it was expected after 1 year vaccinations.
interestingly the batches from Costco are in the lots, we get from target a lot too and those were clear.

Glad he/she is all right. Having to find new formula sucks but healthy baby is good.

I’m honestly surprised the offbrand target/sams club formulations we use aren’t recalled too. I just assumed they were all made by the same people because they’re in almost the exact same containers.

There’sa third company that makes those. We tried it but he didn’t like them.

There are a few different plants where formulas are manufactured/packaged. I worked in that industry for a couple of years in QC. Lots of plant swabs and culture testing. I'm surprised it actually got out the door.

Huh. The sensitive/orange stuff has been what has worked for all three of our kids. The last one is almost done.

Glad your son is ok- there’s nothing that makes a dad feel more helpless than a sick baby. Hang in there.

I feel like most daycares we’ve used use the similac blue or you had to bring your own. I bet there are a lot of them out there if those are included.

Depends on the level of contamination. They are most likely dealing with extremely low pathogen levels which may be hard to detect with routine finished product sampling levels.

Switch to the store brands; its the same ingredients anyways. We switched to the Sams club brand and its 1/2 as much as Similac, and none of the store brands are affected by this to my knowledge.
