WAY too early predictions for 2022?

IMO it all comes down to OL scheme/personnel.
Teams wont need to stack box as much as yrs past. Monty/Breece made something out of nothing several times. Silas is quick as hell but not every down back and Brock didn't seem to have the burst we've been spoiled with (Breece). Guessing that is gonna be RB by committee.
It was a mix of route trees, WR separation, OL's pocket, and Brock getting antsy why the passing game could never open up more. I'm not smart enough to pinpoint which of those is the main reason.
All that said, I'm calling 7-5.

I was surprised by Brock's burst the last two games. The initial step looked good imo
Yes, there were poor details all over the offense in the games in which we struggled to score.
Nope, more wrinkles. A trick play is a flea flicker or a throw to TE who throws it down field. Our passing offense is drop back and throw. Get some halfback motion in the passing game or something to show a different look.

Poor kid had 3 interceptions today. Any chance Ferentz runs him out of the program too?
8-5 with a win over the SCLSU Mud Dogs in the Bourbon Bowl. I’m excited to see see what a big arm can do with a guy like Dekkers. Hopefully we can snag a transfer WR, but not having an insane pass catching threat like Kolar won’t be easy to replace.
OP is the guy who would wear a leisure suit to prom just for the laugh. OP knows who HD is- but it’s been fun reading the reactions to the OP.
I think we’ll miss Breece and our two Tight Ends the most next year, but overall, I think we stay level. I’m predicting 8-4 best case, 7-5 worst case. Going to be a fun season to watch and see who the new guys are that step up for us.
