Xavier Townsend decommits

I could be wrong, but I think he was going to be a WR here.
Was he? We could’ve used that. I do know Adams has similar projections?

Well, if we somehow keep Mason Thomas then I guess this class will be okay. Seems like a lot of negative momentum for this recruiting class ever since MC had his name in the coaching cycle a couple weeks ago.

I thought Mason Thomas already committed to Oregon State?

I think Adams is more raw than Townsend, but if he reaches his potential then he's going to be a fun player to watch. I'm watching the Bears/Packers game right now; I could see us using him like the Bears use Jakeem Grant.

Man that sucks. That really really sucks. I didn’t think we were gonna lose him.

NIL has us screwed, doesn’t it.
Not in this case. He is going to UCF.

The coaching rumors and local UCF also soon being in the Big 12 are bigger factors.

Yeah I realized that after posting this. Also Noble Thomas’s decision definitely couldn’t have been that either considering where he went.

It is frustrating though. We finally hit a strong class and go figure several of the best guys realize they’re too good for us.

We won’t get much better than 7-5/8-4 until this changes. And for that I guess we really can’t complain. We just won’t be as talented.
