***CFB Conference Championship Games Thread***

I think the Sugar is required to take the Big XII championship loser if the champion goes to the play-offs. At least it used to be that way.
That is actually a myth. The runner up has always been the second highest ranked except for twice, both times it was when the sugar was a semifinal game. Technically it’s the highest available team.

Direct from Sugar Bowl website:

"The Allstate Sugar Bowl will host the champions of the Big 12 Conference and the SEC unless either or both of those champions are selected for the College Football Playoff. If either of the champions do qualify for the playoff, another highly-ranked representative from the conference(s) will play in the Allstate Sugar Bowl. In the case of the SEC, the replacement team would be the top-ranked non-playoff team. In the case of the Big 12, the replacement team would be the next non-playoff team with the best record in the regular-season standings. The 2022 Sugar Bowl match-up will be announced on Sunday, December 5 on ESPN."

Lincoln Riley being shown on TV and the SEC chants come flying in.

Conference USA game was pretty epic. Runners led 42-13 in the third, ended up having to intercept a pass at the goal line at the end to hold on.

side note, Brayden Narverson kicks for western Kentucky. He missed two 50+ kicks last night, but made two others.
