they tick me off, and drag me back in. Cyclones, I love you always. It's really hard, sometimes.

If you have been watching the clones for a while, you should know this is a massive improvement from the past. If we played this bad, the score would be 56 to 7 in Norman against OU, now we lose by a TD .

Big recruiting class coming in, so we will see what happens in two years

I love the guy, and haven't been on him at all until that last throw. It was horrible. He battled all day but missed on an easy throw that would have kept the game alive. That hurts.
Exactly. He got beat up all game because of putrid blocking and idiotic play calling. But that throw is on him unfortunately.

Our D did not lose this game.
The TD before half did not lose this game.
The fact we only had 1 TD the 1st half & not changing up our snaps so OU couldn't time them all ******* game lost this game.
Watch OU games the last 4-5 years. They time our snaps every game - big reason they had so many TFL's

That last pass by Purdy sums up his career, as much as he has done of ISU, which has been great, he just cannot finish when the game is on the line. Allen is wide up, you have to get him the ball there and let him run and go from there.

We have progressed from getting blown out by OU to now playing them close, but we still are not finishing, which has been a problem the entire year.

The margin for winning and losing for this team is so small that we can't afford to make silly mistakes like we did today. Purdy's fumble for a TD before halftime was probably the biggest play that lost us the game.

Just not our year folks. Simple as that.

Proud of our team. Could have thrown in the towel after down 2 tds and a backup QB.

For those of you bashing Purdy, get a clue. You are either to young or too drunk to have any perspective.
I will say... I don't know that I've bashed him, I've been critical... maybe I have, IDK... but I do think there is room for being critical. Is he bad? No. I just don't think he's great but no one cares about my opinion but me and that's fine.

He's been a great Cyclone, a great ambassador for the program and the university and a good collegiate quarterback and I will look forward to the future but I also will appreciate seeing a good quarterback and better human being - and at the end of the day that's what it should really be about - wear cardinal and gold one more time at home and once more after that

Surprisingly positive from your usually totally negative posts. I've been watching this team since 83, so I don't need a lesson in what to watch, thank you very much. My post wasn't negative, unlike most of yours.

This staff is amazing but man do they lose a lot of close games.

And win a lot of close games too. Guess what? When you are trying to build a program you probably will lose a lot of close games. The good part for us is that this coaching staff also wins plenty of those close games.

Why is it unfortunate? That implies it’s not unfortunate if it’s someone else’s fault. Purdy constantly misses in the clutch and red zone and did it again today when Ou was playing soft. He is who he is and each kid/unit deserves to be praised or blamed objectively.
