Our student section is located in a horrible spot for field storms.
I agree. Wouldn't be shocked to see it get moved to the south side.

The Big 12 is fortunate to have a fan base as loyal and supportive as ISU's. It seems we're the only school in the conference that even gets excited enough to rush the field anymore. And none of the Big 12 fan bases travels as well as ISU.
I was there Saturday and I was impressed at the steps we took to ensure the OSU players and staff were able to exit the field unharmed.
Instead of publicly reprimanding ISU, Bob should be thankful for ISU and hoping we don't move to the Big 10 a few years from now.

Not sure how anything is wrong with this statement. He never said anything wrong towards Iowa state and what he said was true. Campbell escorted sanders off the field. I was one of them rushing the field but definitely should allow a minute or so to allow opposing team and refs off the field. I’d expect the same safety towards our players. I do agree that there should be some accountability with the refs though. That was a brutal game and they’re lucky we won. A lot of angry people at them
As others have mentioned I'm guessing the concern is the location of the student section and the opposing team and coaches trying to leave the field. I wouldn't really say it was a reprimand, more of saying it is still a concern. Not sure what ISU can do other than moving the students though as they aren't going to hold them back long enough to let the other team off. Maybe have large signs or an announcement right before the end telling fans to allow the other team off the field?
Did any of you even read it? He never reprimanded the field storming, he said more needs to be done to ensure the safety of the student athletes. FOX’s camera was right on a fan going after an OSU player before the police intervened. That crap should never happen even if it’s a bitter rival.
Bowlsby was walking the sidelines Saturday. Saw him at least twice walking from the ISU sideline to the OSU sideline via the south end zone.
