Campbell's extra classy move after the game

That's awesome. I was actually wondering about this. Oklahoma State played a tough game and I have no hard feelings for that program. I love to see good sportsmanship and feel it's important to the game. Happy for the fans, but storming disrupts the ability of players and coaches to meet and be gracious in victory or defeat.

Go Pokes; beat Boomer.

**** Iowa.

I also sat by some Cowboys. They were classy throughout, including in the defeat. No hard feelings toward them at all. Would love to see them again in Arlington.

I realize it was probably OU's worst game of the season but after watching their game against KU I wouldn't be surprised to see them not make it CCG.

OU's last 3 games are @ Baylor, ISU, and @ OSU. All three of those teams can stop your running game and make your QB complete difficult throws to beat you. While their QB is a freak he is still a true freshman and will have some growing pains.

I'd love to play OSU or Baylor in Dallas.

I think Gundy is kind of a doofus, but I respect the program he's built, and really have nothing bad to say about the Cowboys. I generally root for them in other Big 12 matchups

I think once Texas and OU move out of the Big 12, I think a lot of us will have this feeling for the remaining members of the Big 12 (except maybe Baylor). During the game we will hate their guts, but afterwards, everyone can be in a bar having a good time.

There was an Okie Lite fan a few rows behind me. Complete doucher the whole game. Even booed when Anthony Johnson Jr was down with a cramp.

My favorite part of the game was turning around to see his face when the 4th down stop was upheld at the end.

Every fan base has a % of bad fans. My experience with OSU fans is pretty good. Only ran into a couple real jack***** in KC once.
Hands down the worst are Hawkeyes. Not even close. In our league I have found KU BB fans very condescending. Had a bad experience with OU FB fans once. The worst ever was Rutgers fans at the NIT. Horrible.

I have always felt like Okie St and KSU (and maybe T-Tech) are a lot like us. I am gene rallyokay with them winning, except against us.

Campbell really is the best. You see this? After the game he sought out sanders in the field. Storm to tell him good game and made sure he got safely to the lockerroom. What a great man as well as coach.

CR Gazette: Campbell stages attempt to save OSU QB from imminent assault.
by Hok Shill

Ames, IA- As fans rushed the field following a controversial win against a top-ten Big XII team considered overrated by many in an inferior conference, Coach Matt Campbell was seen ordering police to fend off hordes of crazed would-be attackers in order to protect QB Spencer Sanders.

This action was deemed necessary as Iowa State continues a two-year attempt to rehabilitate its tarnished image following a torrent of unprovoked and brutal assaults on members of the esteemed Hawkeye Marching Band.

I actually was looking for a link to continue that article.

Beautifully written.

I noticed a few times throughout the game when Hall would get brought down, OSU players were often extending their hands to help him back up. I really have trouble disliking OSU.

Those 2 teams respect the hell out of each other. It’s a rivalry (yeah, it is) and it’s a respect rivalry vs a hate rivalry. Both teams absolutely brought it and it was a great game.

Campbell is so awesome. He's not perfect, but he's about close as a CFB coach can be.

And Sanders absolutely balled out. He's not an incredible QB, but I've always been impressed with the guy - he makes plays and is always sacrificing his body to get first downs. Seems like the type of guy you like as a leader in your program. Kind of has that vibe similar to Purdy in that he can get himself in trouble trying to do a little too much, but how the hell do you fault a guy with the guts that these two QBs have?

Even with them being a thorn in the side of ISU and Gundy being a little flaky, I've never had a problem with OSU. Probably the best opposing Big 12 fans at JTS and post game in the conference for me.

We had a real piece of work sit behind us. Unfortunately, a Cyclone fan.
