Field storm was unnecessary

I actually wish we'd storm the field after every win. Make it our tradition.
Not the best look given we were favored, but oh well. I know the times that I've rushed the field, it was a cool experience and something that I'll always remember. I have no problem with people wanting to experience that for themselves.
I'm OK with it. Great game, won it late in the 4th quarter. Let us have our fun!

It's not like we were ranked higher at home and rushed the field.
You know I'm a guy who likes to say act like you've been there before. With that being said, I also have 2 kids who are first year students at ISU and were mostly Hawk fans who have never been a part of storming the field. I've never stormed the field and didn't let them when they were with me so let the kids have fun with it.
I will never get people whose identities are so wrapped up in sports that they care, even in the slightest, about whether a field storming was worthy as it is perceived by other people.

While I refuse to rush the field after a win while being a big favorite, I'll allow the students to have their fun. They haven't had a chance to rush the field in a long time.
I don't really care that we were favorites or not, but it didn't really seem like a storm the field worthy game. Our talent is on the same level or even a little better than OSU. A lot of our fans still have a perception that it is 2011 or something and we don't belong on the same field as juggernaut OSU. Except they aren't that team anymore, and we aren't either.
Dumb thread is dumb. A rush doesn't have to be a once in a 10 year event. Yes we didn't even cover, but it's still a top 10 win and could be a defining moment of the season.
Let the kids have there fun, I remember my field rushes in 02-07 fondly.
I think there is a difference between a student rush, and an all out stadium rush which didn't happen.
