I recently smoked a small (about 2 lb) pork loin. I did it at 225. It was done really quickly. Something like 90 minutes.

Didn't come to this thread expecting to find a nu metal reference, but, here we are...D-E-D spells "DED".
Which is what this thread is right now
You never know WHAT you'll find in the RTT threads.Didn't come to this thread expecting to find a nu metal reference, but, here we are...
My presence here was drastically reduced after the college years with the career and the addition of kids to the family and I kind of forgot these RTTs existed. Seems like my cup of tea to jump into though. You never know WHAT you'll find in the RTT threads.![]()
When would you season it if not before you put it in the smoker? This loin is going to be another relearning thing. I put the loin in already because I was trying to be well prepared and had the loin out, oiled, sugared and then started seasoning it (something in my head said don't do this step). Then after about 10 minutes remembered why I don't season right away, and put the loin in the smoker. Dropped temp down to 205 to slow everything down.
I know, but it is best to season it right before you put it in and not any more. Unless you brine it. Most seasoning has a higher level of salt/s in them and the salt will start to suck the juices out of the meat. I started to see alittle puddling around the loins after about 10 minutes, so to hold juices, I threw them in.When would you season it if not before you put it in the smoker?

So we don't get your stuff?
@BoxsterCy Think I know of a wing person for you to meet them tall girls. For some reason my daughter, all 5 3 of her, seems to have tall girls always befriend her. In HS that Audi Crooks that is being recruited heavily would always hang with my daughter at track meets, and now my daughter texted me a picture of this basketball player, asking me about her, because this girl friended her on social media and has started sitting by her in class. It's Izzy.
OK. Let us know when we can.LOL, not yet anyway.
Now it's stuck in my head. For two days this stinking song has been stuck in my head and I have no idea why.
Now it's stuck in my head.
Oh well. There are worse songs. Everybody sing along.

Has your wife (the one that won't give up the landline) been dressing like she wants to go out clubbing to one of the hot spots in Hancock County.Them baggy sweat pants,

The turned around,
and gave that big booty a slap.
She hit the floor (She hit the Floor)
Next thing you know

The refrain keeps cycling and cycling and cycling in my head.
I gotta check that out. Not being a native of the county I'm not sure where that is.Has your wife (the one that won't give up the landline) been dressing like she wants to go out clubbing to one of the hot spots in Hancock County.
Because I'm weird, I googled dance places in Hancock County. Here is what popped up:
"Ellington Township, Hancock County, Iowa Entertainment and leisure ... get our dance on at the many nightclubs in the nightlife capitol Ellington Township."
