In my experience, you can really stretch some edibles and a couple cartridges a longggg while if you can be disciplined with them. Easier said than done (also from experience) but if you're close to Illinois I don't think it's a bad option.

Remember, stuff from legal states is usually gonna be a vast upgrade in THC content from whatever you get in a state like Iowa unless you have a great contact.
If he isn't using a bunch and just needs it for bed it probably would be a better option to do Illinois.

I know a few places in Des Moines where I can get stuff straight from Colorado for $240 an O anytime I'm there. 200 if a wanted a QP.

I guess I don't know where you live in Missouri, but I was not joking when I said drive to Illinois. Maybe it's too far for you, but I know a number of people in central Iowa who make trips to Illinois to get their supplies.
SW MO, so it'd be a drive. But yeah, IL would be closest.

Kind of like Iowans driving to MO to get their fireworks!

On another story...Stupid idea, fireworks in MO, waste of time and money, always several people injured, property fires. Don't see the reason for it. Then again I am a native Iowan.

The real problem is that you'll get told it's from Cali or Colorado every time anyways lmao. Some do actually have it though and it's absolutely worth it.

It's horribly expensive in Illinois? You'd be better of just driving to Colorado.
That CO tax of 25% is not fun
Definitely adds up. I suppose I still prefer it to the anxiety of it being illegal but would love a bit more affordable prices.
I will run for President and when I win, legalize Pot nationwide, fair pricing, minimal taxation, say 15%. Then I will resign my office and write my memoirs.

I know one of the guys pretty well personally. He put's lots of miles on his car. The big time drug people are buying homes in CO, turning them into grow operations for 6-12 months, getting rid of all the ****, and then selling them and getting out of dodge. Always moving. They have carpenters put in special ventilation systems, secret rooms with climate control, and all that stuff. These are high end neighborhoods. All the neighbors are completely oblivious. The people in charge of this stuff aren't just Mexican cartels, they are realtors, bankers, and all kinds of white collar people. This happens everywhere actually.

Drug cartels are buying rural farms everywhere in rural America and using them for giant grow operations. There was a huge Scarface like shootout at farmhouse in Northern Missouri like 10 years ago.
I watched a show that chronicled how cartels sent teams into remote areas of northern California for a growing season and they camped there and grew it right here in the states to sell it. It was some crazy ****.

There are major Mexican drug cartels that have grow operations in rural Iowa. Especially in places where there are larger Hispanic populations so they blend in easier. They'll buy a house and turn it into a grow site.

It definitely is a far more widespread thing than people realize. Far more people use than people think, and it goes across pretty much every demographic line you can think of.

Think of five friends or relatives you trust. Ask them this question. You likely won’t get to the 4th or 5th person before you get a name of someone who can get it for you.
This is your answer. It’s every where. As with most things it’s considerably cheaper if it’s produced locally. Don’t sell the Locals short.

I'll be the elephant tin the room...good cross section of posters here. I wouldn't mind using cannabis again in order to diminish my desire/need for beer/alcohol. Haven't used for 30+ years. How does one get it when one lives in an "illegal" State, ie, MO.

Missouri like Iowa, I think, as of now only has medicinal marijuana.

Feel free to DM me as needed. Seriously, how do you guys get your stuff?
My situation is unique as I used to live in Colorado and my best friend still lives there. He gets me outrageously low priced gummies ($50 for 20 gummies that are 50 mg of THC each) so I buy enough to last me a long time. I still have a few months worth from last summer's purchase. I visit CO a lot on vacation so it's always easy to cross paths with him.
