Looks like there are some dead panels, too bad we didn't upgrade before we knew those a holes were going to leave the conference
We need to extend the actual video part of the board to cover that entire board.... take the ISU logo and conference logo off. The actual video part is too small for today's standards now.
Do those two Logo banners cover the speakers? Can you put video panels over the speakers? Not sure on that.
Why? Above or below the board, on or outside the supports, I don’t really see much difference. It’s not like a new board itself will be cheap.
Nobody will ever see it, except for us that look at the webcam.
I'm thinking mostly for pre-game shots of the stadium and/or various photos taken during the course of the year? Just sayin'
Or perhaps mow them into the middle of the field, similar to what you see on some baseball fields.
Perhaps they could mow these in while creating some sweet B-footage that any broadcast could use if they wanted to. That would make the most sense.

Ha. I know you're joking, but they're laying a ton more sod today and the next 3 days look to be HOT. Hopefully those areas don't take as long to recover as the NW hillside.
Does anyone "in the know" have any info on if they are going to paint those newly poured cement retaining walls, red? I'm talking about the walls that face the west and east side of the Jacobson building and partly face the field on the north endzone. I have seen some renderings showing it, but no action on that thus far.
The original renderings have the retaining walls painted red at least back to the video board on both sides.
